Today Celebrates The Marines 240th Birthday

Today is the 240th birthday of our United States Marine Corps, birthed at Tun Tavern in Philadelphia.

I have the pleasure of knowing many active duty and retired marines. I must say they are a great group of men and women. I am honored to call each and every one of you my friend and hero.

It takes a strong person to serve our country in any branch of the military, but I have always heard the Marines are some of the toughest.

Thank you for all you do to serve your country and mine. Thank you for keeping myself and my fellow Americans safe. I proudly support our United Stated Marine Corps!
