I am proud of my acomplishments but I am prouder of the person my parents have raised me to be. Too many kids are raised with no repect for themselves or anyone else.

I am so thankful that my parents took the time to make sure that I grew up with manners and morals. They taught me the difference between right and wrong ( not that I always make the right decisions).

You can be respectful and still have your own thoughts and opinions. You can live your own life while respecting others. I do not always agree with everything my parents say as a matter of fact I usually don't agree with anything they say. I believe that is called being a teenager and thinking I know everything, after all I have been on this Earth for thirteen years what could I possibly not know?

It feels good when people tell me I am polite, nice, and respectful. I know it makes my mom and dad very proud to hear that coming from other people. They are proud of me for everything I do but I can just tell it's a different kind of proud when it comes to my character instead of my accomplishments.

It does not cost anything to do something nice for someone else, make sure you take the time to do so.
