I am so grateful for the people that support me in everything that I do. I have gotten to meet the most influental people while practicing martial arts. Some of them have never stepped foot on a mat but they have been my biggest supporters.

Of course I would not be where I am at today if not for my coaches and teammates. They are the ones that push me when I think I have nothing left. They are there for me on my good days and my bad. They are my family, we win together, we lose together.

Outside of my gym family I have the people that support me in a different way. They are the ones that are not there beside me during a match. They are the people that sponsor me, share my videos, like my post, root for me to bring home the win. They are the reaon why I am able to compete at so many tournaments. I just want each of you to know that I appreciate all you do for me, and you too are my family.

Many of my biggest supporters I have met through the Writers Police Academy. They have supported me for years. They are a group of people who are like no other group I have ever met before. Most kids my age are not extremly familiar with authors. I on the other hand have had the pleasure of meeting some of the best out there. This year I got to meet bestselling author Karin Slaughter. I was her personal head of security (a title they gave me to keep me out of the way). I escorted her to several events at the Writers Police Academy. She is a very funny and a very nice lady, you should read her books.

There were many people at the event who had sponsored me over the years that I got to meet face to face for the first time. I hope I impressed each of them. One person who has sponsored me over the years was Tracy Nicol. She was at the event this year. I have a tournament coming up this weekend in Fayetteville. It will be my first competing in NC. Tracy contacted me the other night after seeing my post about needing a sponsor to be able to compete and she stepped up to the plate once again. It is people like her who make my dreams come true.

I have been training hard for a Judo tournament this weekend. I hope I can go out there and bring home the win. It has been awhile since I have competed in Judo. I will let you all know how it goes. Thanks again for all of your support!
