What's On Your Bucket List

Most people have some form of a bucket list. You always have those one or two things you cannot imagine going your whole life without doing. Some bucket list include things that are so over the top they will probably never get checked off the list, but for one 91 year old man in Illinois he got to check one of his dreams off of his list.

Walter Thomas has always wanted to drive a car through a garage door. Yes, you read that right he wanted to see if the door would pop off or if the frame would come down with it.

Thanks to Thomas's grandson he got the chance find out for himself what would happen. With his wife of 70 years looking on Thomas and his grandson strapped on safety helmets Thomas stepped on the gas and backed right through the wooden door.

For all those out there who have wondered their whole lives if the door would come down or the frame would come with it, the answer is the frame stayed up and the door was smashed. Thomas stated that he is not sure if there are any other items left on his bucket list but taking down that door would be hard to top.

After reading this story about Thomas one thing is very clear to me, for him to have crashing through a garage door top on his bucket list he has probably lived a very fullfilling life. After all he had his wife of 70 years cheering him on and his grandson there to share in his dream.

As for my bucket list I don't really have many things on it at this time. Everything new that I do is exciting to me. I am only 13 so hopefully I have plenty of time to live out many things in life. I will say if I had to pick one thing today that I would love to cross off it would be getting to spend the day on the mats with BJ Penn or Ronda Rousey. That would be a day to remember.

Enjoy life, go out and crash through that garage door, and enjoy each second that you have!
