Heaven Opens Its Pearly Gates And Receives Another Angel

I just saw on the news that another police officer has been killed in the line of duty. Officer Kerrie Orozco lost her life Wednesday to gunfire. While trying to serve an arrest warrant the suspect opened fired fatally wounding Officer Orozco.

Officer Orozco gave birth in Febuary to a premature baby. She was scheduled to take maternity leave starting on Thursday because her newborn was finally being released from the hospital. Orozco lost her life the day before.

Orozco was not only a seven year veteran of the Omaha police department, she was a wife, mother of two stepchildren, volunteer for the Special Olympics, and a Girl Scout mentour.

The world has lost someone that was special to many. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones. My wish for her newborn baby is to know what a wonderful mother they had.

The supect 26 year old Marcus Wheeler also lost his life at the hospital from results of the shootout.
