My Biggest Fan, I Call Him PawPaw

Grandparents are very special people. They root for you in all of lifes situations. They are the ones who sneak you cake before dinner, and slip a ten dollar bill in your hand when noone else is watching.

My PawPaw goes a step beyond. He has been my biggest supporter in my journey through Martial Arts.

He is no novice in the area of Martial Arts himself. He was an instructor in self defense, and Aikido.

My PawPaw has driven hours to watch me compete in a 10 minute match, he purchased my first bo staff, and every year he raises money for me to be able to compete in tournaments.

He does'nt stop there, he taught me how to build a fence, play baseball, basketball, our version of tennis, to drive a lawnmower, and the list goes on.

We will get to make many new memories this summer. I am heading out to stay with him and my NeNe for a month.
